MIST-GROWN SPECIMENS

Cloud-forest ferns and rare flora.

Acclimated in the high-altitude humidity of Kodaikanal, our rare mountain ferns and shade-loving specimens are slow-hardened to survive transit and thrive in your home.

SLOW-HARDENED

Acclimated for the journey.

Unlike mass-produced greenhouse plants, our specimens grow slowly in Kodaikanal's cool, humid air. This natural hardening ensures they develop the cellular strength needed to adapt to warmer urban climates.

We ship each specimen rooted in its native clay soil, wrapped in breathable moss to maintain moisture without suffocating the roots.

GROWING INSTRUCTIONS

Nurturing mountain flora.

LIGHT
WATER
SOIL

Filtered shade

Consistent moisture

Breathable mix

Use a well-draining, organic potting medium rich in leaf mold. Ensure the container has excellent drainage to prevent rot.

Place in bright, indirect daylight. Avoid harsh afternoon sun which can scorch the delicate, mist-accustomed fronds.

Keep the soil damp but never waterlogged. Mist the foliage regularly to mimic the cool highland humidity of the Ghats.
